Itinerary: 5 Days / 4 Nights
DAY 1: USHUAIA
- The trip will begin in Ushuaia , Argentina , embarking in our vessel, the "Grigoriy Mikheev" which will navigate down the Beagle Channel towards Puerto Williams, the southernmost town in the world, located in Navarino Island . Here, we will have the time to tour around before setting sail toward Cape Horn and the Drake Passage.
DAY 2: NASSAU BAY / CAPE HORN
- After crossing Nassau Bay, we will wake up in front of legendary Cape Horn! Weather permitting, we will put our Zodiac boats into the water and visit its lighthouse and the Chilean station in charge of keeping it beaming. Back on board, we will get ready to set sail towards Antarctica and start the crossing of the famous waters named in honour of Sir Francis Drake, the great XVIth century British explorer.
DAY 3: DRAKE PASSAGE / ANTARCTICA
- Sailing through the Drake Passage en route to Fildes Bay , King George Island ( South Shetland Islands ). We invite you to relax and enjoy life on board and also to take the time to watch wildlife from the bridge or outside decks as we might spot magnificient birds such us, Black browed and Wandering Albatross, Southern Giant Petrels and Antarctic Terns among others. We may also spot Humpback and Minke whales on their way down to Antarctica.
DAY 4: KING GEORGE ISLAND
- Once we have crossed the Antarctic Convergence, we will be sailing through the Antarctic Ocean. The time has come to start spotting the first icebergs and the first Antarctic land. The South Shetland Islands finally come into view, and we will have the opportunity to put our zodiac boats into the water and make our first landing to visit a penguin colony. Exploration will continue all evening thanks to the endless daylight.
DAY 5: KING GEORGE ISLAND / PUNTA ARENAS
- Upon reaching King George Island , we will disembark in Zodiac boats, at Fildes Bay . If time and weather conditions allow it, we may have the chance to visit some interesting places around the area. There, you will have the opportunity of visiting the Chilean Base "Presidente Eduardo Frei M." and the Russian Base "Bellinghausen", enjoying tha Antarctic scenary that the place provides. We will gather at the "Teniente Marsh" aerodrome where we will board the flight that will take us, in a little over three hours, to Punta Arenas , Chile , where our services end.

It is recommended that passengers bring:
- Trekking shoes for the snow
- 2 pairs of thick socks (wool or wool blend)
- 2 pairs thin thermal socks
- Thermal long underwear
- Waterproof rain pants
- Waterproof backpack
- Wool sweaters, polar fleece jackets or polypropylene vests
- Do not use cotton
- 1 snow jacket made of gore text
- Ski gloves, mittens and a pair of thin glove liners
- Scarf
- 1 polypropylene or wool ski cap (preferably wind-proof), ear flaps or a pair of ear mufflers
- Sun glasses with uv protection
- Sun block and lip balm with uv protection
- Video or photographic camera
