Buenos Aires, Argentina: to Tango Shows, City Tours, Rivers, and Ranches

Itinerary: 5 Days / 4 Nights

DAY 1: BUENOS AIRES

  • (Dinner)
  • Transfer to hotel. Dinner in Senor Tango Show. Departure from the hotel to enjoy an unforgettable moment attending one of the most famous tango shows in Buenos Aires. Located in Barrancas neighbourhood, Señor Tango offers a wonderful Tango show every night. This unique show will be complemented with typical food served with the best wines and excellent service and atmosphere. The show was created, directed, and produced by Fernando Soler, celebrated singer and central figure of the show, who among many professional artists perform a delightful tango scene. At midnight, return to the hotel after an unforgettable night in Barrancas. Accommodations at Sheraton Hotel (or similar)

DAY 2: BUENOS AIRES

  • (Breakfast)
  • City Tour of Buenos Aires. Departure from the hotel in Buenos Aires. Visit to the impressive National Congress, the Civic Centre, including Plaza de Mayo, and Casa Rosada, as well as the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Cabildo and Pirámide de Mayo, the famous Colon Theatre, one of the best Opera houses in the world and cultural pride of the city, together with the Cervantes National Theatre. The tour will continue with a visit to San Telmo, and from there, the tour will go on to La Boca, the first port in Buenos Aires, and settlement of Italian immigrants. Afterwards, visit to the northern part of the city, from Puerto Madero to Palermo, where the Zoo, the Botanical Gardens, Argentina's Racetrack, the Planetarium, and the Monument to the "Carta Magna" are found. The next stop will take you to La Recoleta, one of the most elegant neighbourhoods in the city, where "Paseo del Pilar", its restaurants and cafes, the Pilar Church, and the famous Cemetery of La Recoleta will be visited. Return to the hotel. Accommodations at Sheraton Hotel (or similar)

DAY 3: BUENOS AIRES - TIGRE - DELTA - BUENOS AIRES

  • (Breakfast - Lunch)
  • Full day tour of Tigre and Delta of the Parana River. Driving along Libertador Avenue to the northern district of the city, visiting the residential neighborhoods, such as: Martinez and San Isidro. San Isidro is an old colonial town with a beautiful view of the River (Rio de la Plata). Arrival at Tigre City to embark into a typical boat that will allows us to sail on the Delta of Parana River. It is formed through Rivers: Sarmiento, Parana and Lujan, being one of the largest in the world. We can see there old residences that gave splendor to past times. 220 channels surround this area. Delta is the site of many nautical clubs of our country, for rowing, teutonian, hacoaj and canottieri. Lunch at local restaurant. Return to the hotel. Accommodations at Sheraton Hotel (or similar)

DAY 4: BUENOS AIRES

  • (Breakfast - Lunch)
  • An exciting full day tour from Buenos Aires, to an “Estancia” (Ranch), with the traditions of Argentina: dances, songs and horse back riding skills, taking part in a real “gaucho” festival. On arrival, you will be greeted with “Empanadas Criollas” (little meat pies) and Argentinean wines. Afterwards, an “ASADO” lunch (barbecue) will be served in an Argentinean way. Accommodations at Sheraton Hotel (or similar)

DAY 5: BUENOS AIRES

  • (Breakfast)
  • Transfer to airport for your flight.
